Doc’s Eco Camp within the Naretunoi Conservancy is now fully operational offgrid!
To meet the energy demands of our overland travellers, we have commissioned a 15.54Kwp solar plant. This system features a Deye 12Kw 48v three-phase hybrid inverter which efficiently handles peak power requirements across all phases at the camp. Additionally, we have installed 25Kwh of energy storage using five modules of the BYD LV Flex lithium batteries.
Complementing the power solution, our solar infrastructure also includes an Apex solar geyser system. This is paired with a 250-litre accumulation tank to reliably provide hot water for camp showers.
